Join Unbiased Science as a Volunteer or Intern

Thank you for your interest in supporting Unbiased Science! We're thrilled by the growing enthusiasm from people who share our mission to provide accurate, evidence-based science communication. We are always looking for new writers, social media experts, researchers and infographic designers. Please note that most of our writers and graduate interns are unpaid volunteers. To help us better understand your interests, please send us the following: 

  1. About You ( a few sentences) – Tell us what draws you to Unbiased Science and what you hope to gain or contribute

  2. Resume and/or LinkedIn – A current resume or link to your linked in page– highlighting relevant education, work experience, and skills

  3. Social media sample-  Links to any Instagram posts or YouTube videos of work you have created or contributed to

  4. Writing Sample (If you are interested in writing) – A Substack, blog, or piece of writing that demonstrates your writing style and ability to communicate clearly. 

  5. Topic Areas of Interest – List 2-3 scientific topics or subject areas you're most interested in researching or writing about. 

  6. Availability and Time Commitment – How many hours per week you can dedicate to volunteering/interning AND how long you're available to commit (e.g., 3 months, summer break, ongoing, semester-based)
